 Maxwell's Equations

Do we always need to use the Maxwell corrections when we use the equations? And more specifically, do we need the correction with (Dell x H = Jf) ?

If the problem does not deal with magnetic materials just use the free space Maxwell's equations. If it does then the most straightforward method is to use H and the free current density.
